What to Expect:

fly rod ONLY line art gray.jpg

Education is at the heart of my guiding. I love opening minds to the endless possibilities that fly fishing offers. Beginners and Experts alike are welcome in my boat. Fish are always the wild card—and there are never any guarantees. What I can promise is that you’ll be fishing over fish, and I’ll do everything I can to help you connect with them. While landing fish, is important, my main priority is for you to leave with more skill, knowledge, and confidence than when you arrived; the value of a guided trip should extend well beyond our time together. We will work together to get 'em to the net! Bring your questions and your curiosity because we’re not just fishing, we’re learning with every cast!

Experience the river from a new perspective and get more shots at fish!

Wade trips offer technical teaching breakdowns and more hands-on learning and instruction. A great way to up your game both during and after a guided excursion. From hiking small streams in pursuit of native brook trout to stalking spooky smallmouth on the bigger water, wade options are endless! If mobility is a concern, consider a float trip.

  • Valid New Hampshire or Vermont Fishing License (trip dependent)

  • Polarized sunglasses for safety and fish spotting

Safety:
Common wading hazards to be aware of: loose and slippery rocks, uneven footing, hiking hazards into the river, high flows, and other environmental conditions. Limited visibility because of rain and high water is common; if you don't know your next step into the river, don't take it!

Common float hazards to be mindful of: hooks, other anglers, the potential to fall into deeper water. Waders are not recommended during most float trips. All minors will wear PFDs when in boats.

Deposits and Cancellations: All trips require a $200 deposit via cash, check, or Venmo to lock in your date.  Trips that cannot be rebooked will be fully refunded if cancelled with 7+ days notice. Cancellations within 7 days of the trip will forfeit the $200 deposit. Cancellations will be refunded at the discretion of the guide based on weather and current river conditions.

Gratuity: Tips are customary in the guided fishing industry. Guides put in many hours outside the trip, prepping gear, finding fish, maintaining boats and equipment, and tying flies, to ensure a great trip. Tips recognize the extra time and effort outside of your day of fishing and are a welcome thank you.
